This class asks Participants to compare two depictions of the connections between physical and mental health and wellness. In the first film, a young man pushes himself beyond healthy limits to reach a physical goal. In the second film, a breakdancer shares how dance has helped him through periods of depression. Beginning with a body scan, Participants will then use the films to spark reflections on the need for balance between their bodies and minds. The session ends with a free-write in which Participants will explore the relationship between their own mind and body.
