    Participants will be able to:

    • Explore personal feelings and experiences through writing

    • Create interpretations about films and their protagonists, and demonstrate empathy through reflection and discussion

    • Explore personal antidotes to burnout through reflection and writing

    "Rest and Rejuvenation" invites participants to explore their experiences with burnout and the importance of rest. The session begins with a reflective writing exercise, guiding participants to recall and describe moments of refreshing rest. They will then watch a stop-motion animation that explores burnout and renewal, followed by a drama centered on self-expression. Through guided reflection and discussion, participants will connect the themes of the films to their own experiences. The class concludes with an exercise in envisioning practical ways to cultivate rest, balance, and rejuvenation in their daily lives.

    Note: This class has an optional Supplemental Resources that can allow for more time spent learning about burnout. Please plan to add at least 10 minutes to the class time if you plan to incorporate this Resource.
