    Participants will be able to:

    • Read and discuss perspectives from the National Alliance of Mental Illness about the mental health benefits of religion and spirituality

    • Analyze how characters' values and beliefs impact their mental health and wellness

    • Draw conclusions about protagonists and demonstrate empathy through reflection and discussion

    • Create connections between their own personal beliefs and values and their mental wellness

"Spiritual Wellness" invites participants to explore the connection between spirituality and mental well-being through an experimental film following a young man’s journey with the spirit of his late father. To deepen their understanding, participants will first read and reflect on an overview of the mental health benefits of religion and spirituality. After watching the film, they will engage in guided reflection and discussion, examining the perspectives of the characters. The session concludes with a personal exploration of their own values and beliefs, considering how these elements support their mental health and overall well-being.
